Privacy Policy

General Information

The goal of this policy is to explain what information we collect when you use Elimentary ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"), sites, services, products, and content (“Services”). It also has information about how we store, use, transfer, and delete that information. By using or accessing our Services you acknowledge that you accept the practices and policies described in this Policy. This Policy does not apply to third party sites, including those linked to from our Services.

In order to make our Products/Services work and give you the best possible experience, we collect information from your interactions with our Products/Services. This can include information you share with us such as your name, company/business affiliation, or email address, or information we collect such as IP address, browser and location.

If you send us requests via email, your details from the email, including the contact data you have provided there, will be stored for the purpose of processing the request and in the event of follow-up questions. Under no circumstances will we pass on this data without your consent. Your data will be deleted after final processing of your request, provided that there are no legal storage obligations to the contrary.

We do not sell your Personal Data to third parties. But we may share your information with third-party service providers, vendors, and business partners to facilitate our business operations, provide services to you, or enhance our service offerings.

Please keep in mind that any information you share is visible to all participants on these social media sites and you should never post any sensitive personal information.

We use encryption (HTTPS/TLS) to protect data transmitted to and from our site. However, no data transmission over the Internet is 100% secure, so we can’t guarantee security. You use the Elimentary Products/Services at your own risk, and you’re responsible for taking reasonable measures to secure your information.

Data Retention

We retain information as necessary to fulfill the purpose for which that information was collected or as required or permitted by law. We do not retain personal information longer than is necessary for us to achieve the purposes for which we collected it. When we destroy your personal information, we do so in a way that prevents that information from being restored or reconstructed.

Elimentary doesn’t knowingly market products or services to children online under the age of thirteen, and children under the age of thirteen may not use our sites or services.

Under California Civil Code Sections 1798.83-1798.84, California residents are entitled to contact us to prevent disclosure of Personal Data to third parties for such third parties’ direct marketing purposes; in order to submit such a request, please contact us at contact@elimentary.com.

If you are a resident of the European Union (“EU”), you may have additional rights under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (the “GDPR”) with respect to your Personal Data, as outlined below.

For this section, we use the terms “Personal Data” and “processing” as they are defined in the GDPR, but “Personal Data” generally means information that can be used to individually identify a person, and “processing” generally covers actions that can be performed in connection with data such as collection, use, storage and disclosure. Elimentary will be the controller of your Personal Data processed in connection with the Services.
